A WOMAN was taken to hospital with a suspected broken ankle after her car was found in a ditch along Houghton Road on Sunday (February 28).
Fire, ambulance and police services attended after the yellow Suzuki Alto veered off the road near its junction with the A5.
Police blocked off the road while the car was recovered and the driver was taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital in an ambulance.
No other vehicle was involved and no one else was injured.
Police have no reason to believe the female driver was under the influence of alcohol.
