CHILDREN from Downside Lower School, Dunstable, were given the chance to play Paralympic sports in the Sainsbury’s ‘1 Million Kids Challenge’.
Six staff from Sainsbury’s in Luton Road, Dunstable, spent the morning at the Oakwood Avenue school as part of the initiative, which is to get one million children playing Paralympic sports.
Included in a kit supplied by the supermarket was equipment for three Paralympic sports – goalball, sitting volleyball and visually-impaired football.
