THE public inquiry into the planned A5 Dunstable northern bypass has not yet reached the end of the road.
It was expected to be completed last week, but is now due to finish this Friday, March 2.
Planning inspector David Wildsmith is heading the inquiry.
Details of the scheme are available at www.highways.gov.uk.

Some objections were withdrawn before the inquiry got under way.
The proposed bypass would be a 2.9-mile dual carriageway, running east from the A5 north of Dunstable to link to the M1 at a new junction, 11a.
The inquiry is at the Superdrug Stores Conference Centre, ProLogis Park, Arenson Way, Dunstable.
