A FOUR-YEAR-OLD girl has been left distraught after her beloved family dog went missing earlier this month.
Precious, a two-year old shih-tzu bitch, has been missing since she ran away while owner Niki Greenhill was putting the bins out at their home in Leaf Road, Houghton Regis on February 1.
Niki’s daughter Kat usually helps walk Precious to and from school every day but now misses her dearly.
Niki said: “I hope someone has a heart and returns her, as she is very precious to us - the reason for her name.
“She is very much missed by me and my daughter.”
Niki has issued a £100 reward for Precious’ safe return, but says she would pay whatever it costs to have her dog back.
