ARMED police surrounded a house in St Michael’s Avenue in Houghton Regis today (Tuesday, March 22) after reports that a man armed with a knife had barricaded himself inside the property.
A police spokesman said officers were called at around 11.30am this morning. A man is believed to have thrown a television through a window during the ensuing stand-off.
Officers entered the house just after 2pm and arrested a man, who has now been taken to Dunstable Police Station.
