HATTERS: Southport centre-half Steve Akrigg is keen to see Town midfielder Godfrey Poku return to Haig Avenue.
On Poku, who had an immensely successful loan spell at the Sandgrounders, Akrigg said: “We are a close-knit squad but the extra bodies can really help us. Godfrey is a brilliant lad and one of them work horses on the pitch that you want in your side. He is a real grafter and brilliant to have in the team.”
