360 dodgers detected by TV Licensing

HUNDREDS of TV licence fee-dodgers were caught last year in Dunstable.

A total of 360 people in the town were found to be without a valid licence in 2011, new figures reveal.

Pauline Gillingham of TV Licensing said: “On behalf of licence fee payers in Luton and Dunstable, we are committed to tackling evasion and enforcing the law among the small minority who should pay, but don’t. It’s only fair.”

If you are found without a valid licence you could face prosecution and a fine of up to £1,000.
